Girl's Weekend
Amidst my Mom passing away I really have needed distractions. This includes having friends visit me, talking to anyone, or going on a fun weekend getaway!!! So over this last weekend I went to St. George with some close friends to play. We saw The Little Mermaid at Tuacahn, Midsummer Night's Dream at the Shakespearean Festival, visited Brigham Young's historic house, ate out at Cracker Barrel and Benja(Asian), played games, swam, watched I Love Lucy, and the best part JUST TALKED! I have some amazing friends!

Summertime Dinner Party
My friend Mikaela and I decided to host an outdoor dinner party this last week. We did invite more men then women, but a lot couldn't come. We also themed it around International food as got a very good variety from all over the world including Thai, Australian, American, Ecuador, Mexican, and German. It was a lot of fun to just sit in a breezy summer evening for about 3 hours laughing and talking! Of course we also shared the harvest of our garden, especially the zucchini.

Shrimp, Panties, and Beer
Awhile ago my co-workers and I were laughing at a theft a woman had committed. Yes, she stole shrimp, panties, and beer. Guess she really liked that stuff, lol. I can concur on the shrimp, but hold off on the others. What I do really like lately is Sugar Cereal and Movies. I'm not saying I would steal those, I have just been a little obsessed with them lately.
Sugar Cereal seems to be a people pleaser. I know very few people who don't like it. I usually buy whatever is on sale, but still the healthiest. Last time I went to the store they were having a great sale and was able to buy some of my favorites...Reese's PB Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, and Raisin Bran Crunch. There are other favorites, but those top the list for now. What are your favorites?
Now movies. I have been very picky with my movies in the last few months because anything sad or emotional would instantly make me that way. I hate the Twilight movies, why are so many women obsessed with them? I love action movies!!!! I am just getting back to were I can watch sad movies. I saw 17 Miracles last week. It is a fantastic movie, but holy cow could make you depressed with all the dying, luckily I was having a good day. I did watch "My Life" this week, which I probably shouldn't have done. I love that movie and just had drive to watch it. Loved it, but cried for hours afterwards. Now I have to catch up with a whole bunch of summertime cartoon movies. Any recommendations?

Worth of Souls #3
So this person is a new friend. I first asked her how she was doing when I noticed she was sitting in her car, during church. She was not feeling well, but since then we have become good friends.
I am very excited for her because she just found out she got a new job, which is sorely needed. Her current job has really been stressing her out so hopefully the new one will be what she needs. She is such a sweetheart, considerate, and is also genuinely concerned about how you are feeling. Maybe the picture or me saying she is a great cook will give her away to some, but those outward things don't matter. She is just a nice person. I really admire that she has been writing each of her nieces and nephews a letter this year and bearing her testimony too. I know she also goes above and beyond with her church calling, even though it is killing her, hopefully she will be released soon:) Anyways, love her guts!

Loaded Questions
Yesterday our family had a birthday party for two of my brothers. Janet made some yummy food, Dad bought the traditional clown cones, and then we played Loaded Questions. That game was a first for everyone except myself so it was very entertaining:) Dad and Mom won, but I have to admit I kind of made that happen, lol! Happy Birthday Ryun and Glen!!!
