I know you are all anxious to hear about the wedding (at least the two readers I have), but I am waiting for pictures to come back before I post anything. I will however tell you that I have been baptized by throw-up as a Mom, 3 times now;D
First I have to say that I love being married, being a wife, and being a mom. However I do not like bodily fluids, not that anybody really likes them, but I really have to work hard not to throw up myself when I am around these things. I love all 5 of my guys so much already, which is the reason I feel like I can deal with puke. To be honest I can deal with the other bodily fluids a lot better, so luckily Ryan cleaned up one out of 3 times. The other 2 times were in public places so we didn't have to deal with them.
Last night was epic. I should have know getting on a spinning ride at a carnival with the boys would equal disaster. However once the deed was done I felt compassion for the little guy and I felt bad that he was embarrassed (as I am sure we all would be). I took him home, we got cleaned up and I headed back to the carnival.
The last ride as a family was on the Ferris wheel. For some reason this is the ride that gets to me the worst. The last Ferris wheel I rode was at California Adventure, which spins in two directions. I hated it. Luckily I made it though last nights ride with a lesson learned. Going backwards and upwards made me nauseous, but moving forward and down was great and rather pleasant. I enjoyed the view from the top, even as our youngest was shaking the chair. The view made me think that family life is really where it is all at. I wish everyone got to experience the ups and downs of being married and having a family. So to my single friends out there...be patient! You too will be baptized one day and enjoy the ride.
